Many times you will notice that your baby is irritated, crying and is in pain and in a particular area of the body the skin has become red. This is known as rash. Rash, which is a skin condition, is the irritated skin that looks like patches of inflamed skin on the infected area. It can appear red, bumpy, lumpy, or scaly. Sometimes it is accompanied by fever or could be a result of an allergic reaction. But there is nothing to worry about. This is very common in babies and even adults but more prone in babies due to sensitive skin.
Causes of rashes in babies include:

- fabrics
